I am proud to introduce you to my ACCA SBL Platinum Package (with Pass Assurance). The course provides comprehensive study coverage of the syllabus and the personalised support and feedback you need to pass the SBL exam.

The course will provide the following elements:

  • A Tuition phase will teach you the technical knowledge needed for the SBL exam and an understanding of how to gain the valuable professional marks. We will also cover the basics of exam technique.
  • There will be four homework sessions to get detailed feedback on your work and build your confidence and exam technique.
  • The revision phase will have two mock exams on the practice platform which will be marked and detailed feedback provided.
  • There will also be a final unmarked mock based on the pre-seen which will be provided on the Friday before the exam.

Key features of the Platinum Package

This package gives you the maximum support for your SBL exams.

  • You will get 370 marks of marked work in the Platinum Package.  Each assignment will come with detailed feedback on how to improve your mark.
  • Your marked work will include three mock exams.  The final mock will be based on the pre-seen material for your exam, as released by ACCA.  Using the pre-seen material in a mock is the best way to familiarise yourself with how you will combine the pre and post-seen exhibits in the real exam.
  • The Revision Phase of the course will contain 3.5 days of intensive question practice covering the entire syllabus. This will break down the question and exam technique needed to pass the SBL exam. All students on this course will gain access to Marty's Mind maps which will summarise all the technical knowledge on the syllabus into a 35 pages of mind maps.
  • During the last half day, we focus on the pre-Seen and have a live session in which I provided a detailed debrief of the case study. This will provide additional notes of key areas and allow students to ask questions and clarify issues.
  • This course will include two practice mock exams (one 50 marks and the other 100 marks) on the ACCA Practice Platform. These practice exams are designed to improve your exam technique and give you a feel of the real exam. The feedback you get will help you to correct basic errors and fine tune your exam technique.
  • There will also be two full mock exams based on the pre-seen case study.
  • Pre-seen Mock One will be on the weekend after the pre-seen is released and will take place on the ACCA Practice Platform. This will reflect what I feel is likely to come up in the exam. Your answer will be marked, and detailed feedback will be provided on how to improve. There will be a full video review of the pre-seen Mock Exam One and a pre-seen Mock Two based on the pre-seen will be released on the Friday before the exam and this will be unmarked but review in our final live session.
  • The course will include three live sessions:
    • Live Session One: Kick off session focusing on exam technique.
    • Session Two: Detailed review of the pre-seen material including additional notes on hot area.
    • Session Three: Review of the pre-seen Mock Two.
  • 24/7 WhatsApp support so you will always have a mentor to quickly respond to your questions.  This will provide you with the support, answers, guidance and reassurance you need to make optimum use of your available study time.
  • Concise lecture notes: In the tuition phase you will receive lecture notes which will cover the technical knowledge of the SBL Syllabus. These notes have gaps which you will fill in as you interact with the video.
  • A structured study plan, with regular check-ins to make sure you are progressing.

Payment by instalments

Conditions for Payment by Instalments

You can enrol now by paying the instalment payment (choose the first instalment payment drop down for your chosen exam), and then making further payments of the balance due to buy your course.  You will be enrolled within 24 hours of your initial payment, and usually immediately.

Your second payment must be made by 15th of the month following your initial payment.  E.g. if you enrol on either 6 March or 26 March  you must make your second payment by 15 April, and your third instalment by 15 May.  Your second instalment and third instalment is made using the drop down menu above, in the same way as your first instalment.  You must complete all payments for your course by 15th of the month before your exam.

If you are unable to make subsequent payment(s) by the agreed due date(s) then you should speak to me urgently.   If you do not pay an instalment by the due date your enrolment will lapse and you will need to enrol afresh to gain access to y

Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions that apply to all FME courses can be found at the foot of each FME website page.  These additional terms and conditions refer only to this course.

1. HD Videos can be streamed to your PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone (technology permitting) and can be watched as many times as you wish prior to your exam sitting.

2. Your questions and queries submitted by WhatsApp will be directly answered.  The joint WhatsApp group will involve revealing your contact details to other students. The exchange of copyright materials between students (by any means), or any attempt by a student to obtain such materials from another student, will lead to exclusion from the course.

Pass Assurance scheme

I am confident that completing this course should get you a pass in ACCA SBL. BUT, if you are not successful and have met the scheme conditions, either you will be enrolled on the Platinum Package for the next SBL exam or I will refund your fee (at my option). 

To qualify for re-enrolment in the Platinum Package course (excluding the pass assurance element) leading to the next available SBL exam you must meet all of the following conditions:

  1. You must engage in the course and submit assignments and mocks for marking.
  2. You score at least 40% in the actual exam for which your course prepares you.
  3. You must provide FME with all necessary information in time for FME to register you with ACCA’s results service, and agree to share this information with ACCA.
  4. You must email me to request re-enrolment under this Pass Assurance Scheme within one week of receiving your results.

Deferral policy

If you wish to defer your course enrolment to the subsequent exam sitting, please make your deferral request by WhatsApp to Marty Windle.  Once ACCA’s standard exam entry date has passed it is unlikely your request will be granted.

  • Please make any deferral request by email or by What’sApp to Marty Windle
  • There is no fee
  • You can only defer once: no subsequent deferral is allowed
  • Deferral is not allowed once the standard exam entry date for the relevant exam has passed

Progression to Revision

Progression to revision is contingent on adequate progress in tuition. If, in your tutor’s opinion, you are not making adequate progress on your tuition course then you will not be enrolled on revision. Instead, you will be deferred to the tuition course supporting the next exam sitting.  If this scenario repeats in the following sitting, then you will remain on the tuition course until that sitting’s exam, at which point your enrolment on the course will end with no fee remission.
