My Revision Plus course is a full Revision course plus 2 final mock exams The ACCA AFM Revision Plus Course has been created to provide ACCA AFM students with a high quality and comprehensive revision phase for each AFM sitting. The course is structured into 3 phases - pre Revision, Revision and post Revision. The philosophy of the course is straightforward: it provides you with a clear process, key resources, and active support. All learning is directed toward the exam, and utilises past AFM exam questions. All your CBE homework is marked by Sunil. Support is via all modes, with a dedicated WhatsApp group, from Sunil himself (football permitting!)  No deferral of this course is possible. For details of the course content, please see below and view the 'course screenshot' tab above.  You can buy this course now to secure your space.  This course will open on 15 April. Pre-revision recap CBE questions This course assumes you will have covered the AFM syllabus in a tuition course. However, we know not all tuition courses are the same, so you'll get a pre-revision CBE question and answer pack on those questions, plus questions of those CBE questions covered on Sunil's Tuition course.
Dealing with analysis and evaluation - "How to" notes.  A revision aide demonstrating the steps and processes needed to successfully complete key AFM calculations.
Dealing with scepticism and acumen - Theory Pack The unique document (PDF format) aggregates all the key AFM theory/written answers into one place – what to write and how to write it to pass this paper.  Includes recommended additional resources to enhance commercial acumen.
Articles Pack All relevant official ACCA articles will be incorporated into a single folder – easy to find and read - and will be referenced where appropriate within the video lectures.
Shortcuts document and videos 'CBE skills, methods and shortcuts' document and videos.
Professional marks document 'How to tackle the new Professional Marks' document.
Tutor Support Sunil will provide full tutorial support via WhatsApp (text and voice).
DPM Approach Syllabus/Topic based revision phase – each of the first seven sessions explores a core AFM topic using 2 or 3 past exam questions using notes and pre-recorded lectures.   These 7 sessions collectively cover the whole syllabus.

  • Demonstrate: using "How to" Notes, Theory Pack and Videos, I demonstrate how to apply your AFM knowledge and skills to answer questions.
  • Practice: attempt carefully chosen questions to practice the skills you have learned and self mark your attempt against my video debrief of these questions.
  • Mini mock:  it is ESSENTIAL that you practice a previously unseen question using the practice platform to time.  Your attempt is then marked: each mistake becomes a learning opportunity.
Marked Mini-Mock Questions As described above, 7 specified compulsory* mini-mock questions (the equivalent of 2.25 exams) marked to ACCA AFM standards with personal feedback.  Each question will have a video technical review giving a question commentary on each question covering both the technical, exam technique, and professional skills issues.
ACCA AFM Focused Exam Kit ~60 past AFM exam questions as set by the current ACCA AFM examining team, ordered in the same order as the Revision Course.  Each question has a PDF of the question, answers (as pdf and excel files) and a video debrief of an answer recorded within exam time by Sunil.
Revision Mock Exams Two dedicated mock.  The first to be attempted using the FME area on the ACCA practice platform. The second, close to your exam, through the FME Study Site. Submissions will be marked to exam standard by current AFM marking team members.  Full feedback, a detailed personal report on each attempt, and how you scored compared to others (anonymously).
Post mock exams IF you work and submit a Mock Exam and submit it for marking then you will receive the following for that exam:
Questions, answers (including spreadsheets), highlighted professional skills, and a video technical review giving an exam commentary on  each exam covering both the technical, exam technique, and professional skills issues.

The descriptions above are indicative of what you will receive if you enrol on this course, but not an undertaking to deliver a certain number of contact hours. The contents / structure of this course are constantly evolving, and Sunil therefore reserves the right to make changes where he believes this will increase your chances of passing. Have a question? Please click here. * The purpose of this course is to get you through your exam.  The best way to achieve this is for you to do the compulsory homework questions.  If you find you are unable to submit any homework question on time then you are expected to contact Sunil in advance of the homework deadline.  You should explain why you cannot submit, and to agree your next steps.  If you do not do this then Sunil may, as a last resort, exclude you from the course.

Payment by Instalments

Conditions for Payment by Instalments

You can enrol now by paying the instalment payment (choose the first instalment payment drop down for your chosen exam), and then making further payments of the balance due to buy your course.  You will be enrolled within 24 hours of your initial payment, and usually immediately.

Your second payment must be made by 15th of the month following your initial payment.  E.g. if you enrol on either 6 March or 26 March  you must make your second payment by 15 April, and your third instalment by 15 May.  Your second instalment and third instalment is made using the drop down menu above, in the same way as your first instalment.  You must complete all payments for your course by 15th of the month before your exam.

If you are unable to make subsequent payment(s) by the agreed due date(s) then you should speak to me urgently.   If you do not pay an instalment by the due date your enrolment will lapse and you will need to enrol afresh to gain access to your course, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

A course is available for ‘Payment by instalments’ only if the First Instalment for that exam is available.  Making a second or third instalment payment before making a first instalment payment will result in your payment being held as a downpayment against a subsequent course with this tutor.  If you ask for such funds to be returned then we can do so, but will deduct the bank collection fees paid and an admin fee of £20.

Notes

(*1) HD Videos can be streamed to your PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone (technology permitting) and can be watched as many times as you wish prior to your exam sitting.

(*2) WhatsApp support will be via a dedicated WhatsApp group, which will involve revealing your contact details to other students.  Sunil will answer questions that relate to the revision phase or past exam questions not included in the tuition course, but will not answer questions that relate to tuition materials.  Sunil will also help guide your study approach.  Mutual student support is encouraged, but student answers to technical questions are not: this is not an exercise in ‘the blind leading the blind’.  The exchange of copyright materials between students (by any means), or any attempt by a student to obtain such materials from another student, will lead to exclusion from the course. Membership of the group WhatsApp may be suspended or withdrawn should you behave inappropriately. This WhatsApp group will run from the date you enrol until 1 week before your exam, and then it will be replaced by individual support until the day before your exam.

(*3) We order electronic copies of the kit on request post enrollment. The codes for these can take 7-14 days to arrive.
