The topic and scope of each webinar is under your control. Mark has conducted webinars to support students taking the majority of the AMCT new syllabus.
Webinars are conducted using Adobe Connect, and are recorded, so you also get access to a web-based Adobe Connect recording of your class. We may also refer you to one or more of the 2,000+ videos we have on treasury related topics / the hundreds of pages of notes we created to support ACT qualifications, usually via your own tailored online course.
This product is for a single 30 minute session: so if you want a one hour webinar, please book 2 sessions.
What is a webinar?
Webinars offer you the opportunity to participate in a classroom like experience via PC, tablet or mobile. Your lecturer talks to you just as they would in class, whilst you watch their screen at home, with a webcam of your tutor in the corner of your screen.
Participation is via chat window or emoticom, allowing you to ask your tutor, or other students, specific questions, or just to speed up or slow down, or via the MCQ polls set by your tutor. We rarely get large numbers on our webinars, so you are almost certain of low participant numbers (at least until the webinar secret is out!)
Technical requirements:
Webinars use Adobe Connect 9 . Visit their site to see what you need to be able to log in, and to test your equipment. You are able to connect to the webinar via PC, tablet or mobile, assuming you download the relevant app. Webinars are recorded for later viewing via this website, technology permitting.
