NEW Double Revision Approach
Sunil has designed the NEW Double Revision Approach as a more comprehensive and effective way to prepare for the ACCA AFM exam. There are two phases to this:
  1. Syllabus/Topic based revision – each session, which consists of over 3 hours of video material, where past questions grouped together to revise the AFM syllabus on a topic by topic basis.  (*1)
  2. Exam based revision – the LIVE webinars (*2) (also recorded) of 3 hours plus, are designed to simulate the exam where questions are covered across the syllabus.

Hence, with the NEW Double Revision Approach the entire AFM syllabus is covered twice!

Completed Revision NotesThese accompany each of the revision webinars and are in a PDF format.
Kaplan On Line Revision KitThe latest version of the Kaplan on line Revision Kit containing past AFM (P4) exam questions, as well as other exam standard questions. (*4)
Answer BankSunil has attempted all ACCA AFM questions, under exam conditions, set by the current ACCA AFM examining team. These answers will be used at various points during the period of the course.
Marked Revision Homework QuestionsSpecified questions will be set for submission during the revision phase and will me marked to exam standard.
Articles PackAll relevant official ACCA articles will be incorporated into a single folder – easy to find and read.
Theory PackThe unique document (PDF format) aggregates all the key AFM theory/written answers into one place – what to write and how to write it to pass this paper.
This is now available as a podcast version.
Tutor SupportSunil will provide full tutorial support via all modes – email, sms, text, WhatsApp, Skype and Facetime. (*3)

(*1) HD Videos can be streamed to your PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone (technology permitting) and can be watched as many times as you wish prior to your exam sitting. HD videos play back through Javascript popups – so you must have Java installed and popups enabled to be able to view them.

(*2) All webinars will start at 13.30 (UK time) and last for a maximum of 3 hours. On rare occasions, dates and times may change at the discretion of the tutor.  HD videos play back through Javascript popups – so you must have Java installed and popups enabled to be able to view them. Live webinars are presented using Adobe Connect and can be watched on your PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone (technology permitting). The webinars will be recorded to allow them to be played back and watched as suits you.

(*3) WhatsApp support will be via a dedicated WhatsApp group, which will involve revealing your contact details to other students.  The WhatsApp group is for Sunil to answer your questions: it is not an exercise in the ‘blind leading the blind’.  Mutual student support is encouraged, but the exchange of copyright materials between students (by any means), or any attempt by a student to obtain such materials from another student, will lead to exclusion from the course.  Formal student support will end one week before your exam date.

(*4) We order electronic copies of the kit on request post enrollment.  The codes for these can take 7-14 days to arrive.

The descriptions above are indicative of what you will receive if you enrol on this course, but not an undertaking to deliver a certain number of contact hours.  The contents / structure of this course are constantly evolving, and Sunil therefore reserves the right to make changes where he believes this will increase your chances of passing.

What's a webinar?

Webinars offer you the opportunity to participate in a classroom like experience via PC, tablet or mobile. Your lecturer talks to you just as they would in class, whilst you watch their screen at home, with a webcam of your tutor in the corner of your screen.

Participation is via chat window or emoticom, allowing you to ask your tutor, or other students, specific questions, or just to speed up or slow down, or via the MCQ polls set by your tutor.

Technical requirements:
Webinars use Adobe Connect 9 . Visit their site to see what you need to be able to log in, and to test your equipment. You are able to connect to the webinar via PC, tablet or mobile, assuming you download the relevant app. Webinars are recorded for later viewing via this website, technology permitting.
