Tuition Course

My tuition course is based on my experience of working with the ACCA and Kaplan. It makes sure that you have knowledge of the key technical areas and techniques which the computer-based exam (CBE) requires you to apply to Audit and Assurance.  My course will highlight the key things you need to know and then show how to apply this knowledge using simple techniques that will deliver you fantastic answers to real exam questions.

This course is most suitable for use in studying for:

• the next sitting of AA (or the sitting after that) if this your first attempt or
• resit students who could not resit within 3 months of their original exam, and so need to keep up to date and refresh their knowledge

This is ‘old fashioned teaching’ at its best with a modern delivery.

You will receive a work plan which references to the FME course structure. The course is organised into topics, each with its own focussed, recorded tuition video, class notes and relevant ACCA articles. Each topic will also have its own homework plan, so you know exactly what to do and when. This will really help you learn efficiently to achieve success.

What happens when you enrol?

Every student will be offered an introductory remote meet before starting the course.  My courses open on 1st of the month, just over 5 months before your exam.  Don’t worry if you plan to enrol after this: you set your own learning pace once enrolled.  You will receive a Kaplan code for your text direct from me after you enrol.

Conditions for Payment by Instalments

You can enrol now by paying the instalment payment (choose the first instalment payment drop down for your chosen exam), and then making further payments of the balance due to buy your course.  You will be enrolled within 24 hours of your initial payment, and usually immediately.

Your second payment must be made by 15th of the month following your initial payment.  E.g. if you enrol on either 6 March or 26 March  you must make your second payment by 15 April, and your third instalment by 15 May.  Your second instalment and third instalment is made using the drop down menu above, in the same way as your first instalment (and may be paid that way even if your course is closed to new enrolments).  You must complete all payments for your course by 15th of the month before your exam.

If you are unable to make subsequent payment(s) by the agreed due date(s) then you should speak to me urgently.   If you do not pay an instalment by the due date your enrolment will lapse and you will need to enrol afresh to gain access to your course, unless there are exceptional circumstances.

A course is available for ‘Payment by instalments’ only if the First Instalment for that exam is available.  Making a second or third instalment payment before making a first instalment payment will result in your payment being held as a downpayment against a subsequent course with this tutor.  If you ask for such funds to be returned then we can do so, but will deduct the bank collection fees paid and an admin fee of £20.

Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions that apply to all FME courses are at the foot of each FME website page.  These additional terms and conditions refer only to this course.

The descriptions in this product are indicative of what you will receive if you enrol on this course, but not an undertaking to deliver a certain number of contact hours. The contents / structure of this course are constantly evolving, and Erin therefore reserves the right to make changes where she believes this will increase your chances of passing.

Progression to Revision:

Progression to revision is contingent on adequate progress in tuition. If, in your tutor’s opinion, you are not making adequate progress on your tuition course then you will not be enrolled on revision. Instead, you will be deferred to the tuition course supporting the next exam sitting.  If this scenario repeats in the following sitting, then you will remain on the tuition course until that sitting’s exam, at which point your enrolment on the course will end with no fee remission.

Pass Assurance:

To qualify for re-enrolment in the Platinum Package course (excluding updated Kaplan materials and the pass assurance element)  leading to the next available AA exam you must meet all of the following conditions:

1. You complete at least 75% of the tuition and revision course work, as measured by the course progress bars.
2. You score at least 40% on 75% of the homework set as part of your course.
3. You score at least 40% on your end of revision mock exam
4. You score at least 40% in the actual AA exam for the sitting in question.
5. You must provide FME with all necessary information in time for FME to register you with ACCA’s results service, and agree to share this information with ACCA.
6. You must email me a copy of your ACCA result and request re-enrolment under this Pass Assurance Scheme within one week of receiving your results.

Deferral policy

If you wish to defer your course enrolment to the subsequent exam sitting, the following conditions will apply:

• Please make any deferral request by email or by WhatsApp to Erin Morton
• Deferral is only exceptionally allowed once the exam entry date for the relevant exam has passed
• You can only defer once for free: a second deferral will be charged at 50% of the current course fee: no subsequent deferral is allowed.
