Aileen has over 12 years of experience in professional accounting education, since qualifying as a CA with PWC, including time as a lecturer and examiner at ICAS and ACCA. 

As an independent tutor, she worked with ACCA, ICAS, ICAEW, BPP, Kaplan, Learn Signal and now FME to develop courses and exams for professional accounting students. 

Aileen understands the way exams are written and marked, as well as where students go wrong with them. 

Most relevant for your studies is Aileen’s experience as a Qualifications Technical Advisor for Tax at ACCA, where she worked with various examiners to create the FTX, TX and ATX exams for the UK and variant papers, ensuring they were fair, accurate and consistent. 

Aileen was responsible for the final sign off of the exams before they were released, as well as updating the examinable documents, technical articles and tutor support videos as needed.

She knows what goes on behind the scenes at ACCA and with her years of lecturing and content writing experience, she focuses on what you need to do to ensure you are completely prepared, confident and ready to pass your taxation exam.
