ACCA PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT (PM)
Jo Tuffill has over 15 years’ experience in the professional finance tuition market. After qualifying as an ACA with Arthur Andersen, she began training graduates before progressing a career in Financial Performance & Analysis followed by Mergers & Acquisitions, both at blue chip organisations. Since 2010 after living in Germany for 4 years, Jo returned to teaching focussing on ACCA with BPP, Kaplan & Oxford Brookes Business School. She then started Oxfordshire’s Platinum ACCA provider Vale Financial Training in 2011, which specialised in face to face classroom teaching. In 2020, Jo moved online, teaching the local market, she is now with FME to offer her expertise to the global market.
The Exam
The aim of the Performance Management exam is to develop knowledge and particularly skills in the application of management accounting techniques for planning, decision making, performance evaluation, and control. This exam is a significant step up from earlier studies. Application and implication will be examined.
The syllabus for Performance Management, builds on the knowledge gained in Management Accounting (MA). It also prepares students for the more specialist capabilities covered in Advanced Performance Management.
