The aim of the Performance Management exam is to develop knowledge and particularly skills in the application of management accounting techniques for planning, decision making, performance evaluation, and control. This exam is a significant step up from earlier studies. Application and implication will be examined.
The syllabus for Performance Management, builds on the knowledge gained in Management Accounting (MA). It also prepares students for the more specialist capabilities covered in Advanced Performance Management.

The key to passing this exam is to ensure you look at practising past exam questions early on, alongside absorbing the content. You must be able to apply your knowledge to any given exam scenario.
